Delivery Charges

A flat rate delivery charge of £59 is applied to all orders and is automatically added to your order at the check out stage. If your order consists of more than one product, delivery will be arranged when all your items have arrived into our distribution centre.

Delivery Information

Delivery Times:
The majority of our products are made to order and will be delivered within 4-6 weeks of your order.  When your full order is ready for distribution we will contact you to arrange delivery. You will be offered an initial delivery slot but if this is not suitable we will offer a maximum of two alternative slots.

Storage of Orders:
Unfortunately we do not have the facility to store your product for any length of time therefore if you cannot take the product within two weeks of us advising you of its availability, a storage charge of £25 per week (full or part) will be made. Where the product is available for delivery prior to delivery dates noted above (8-10 weeks for upholstery and 4-6 weeks for all other items) this charge will not be applicable until two weeks after the relevant delivery period.

Delivery Practicalities:
On the delivery day a two person team will place your furniture into the room of your choice. Please ensure that the delivery team can gain easy access to your premises and that you have checked the dimensions of the item(s) to ensure that it will fit through all necessary access points. Please note that an additional delivery charge will be applied if direct sofas t/a sofa auction are unable to deliver the item(s) at the agreed time if access to the property is not arranged.

We are sorry, but we are unable to take away old items of furniture. However we ask that you do not dispose of your old sofa,  if at all possible until delivery has been made as, in the unlikely event of a delivery problem arising, we cannot guarantee a loan piece of furniture.

Accepting Delivery of the Product:
Please ensure that you have cleared the area for the item(s) in advance of delivery. The item(s) will be unwrapped and all packaging will be removed. At this time you may inspect the goods and advise us of any shortfalls or visible damage before signing for the product. We cannot accept any claim for damage where you have refused to inspect the product at the time of delivery or have opted not to unwrap the product.

Please note that the delivery charge is non-refundable if we are unable to deliver the product because the available access points are not of sufficient size.

Processing your order and delivery dates

When placing a phone order with an internet shopping advisor by telephone we will say how long we expect (in weeks) it will take for your furniture to be made and sent to you. Occasionally, the manufacture of your furniture may be delayed through circumstances beyond our control. We will, of course, make every effort to keep you informed.
