Returns, refunds and your right to cancel

Your right to return goods is protected by law from the date you place your order until seven working days after the day that you accept delivery of the goods. Certain goods are exempt from these rules including mattresses which have been removed from their packaging and bespoke items.

Cancelling your order prior to delivery

If for any reason you change your mind prior to delivery you may cancel your order by contacting us through the 'contact us' option on the website or by emailing us at sales@sofaauction.co.uk. If you cancel within a few days of placing your order then a full refund will be possible. As our products are bespoke and are manufactured to match your request after this period we will have in most cases a binding contract with our suppliers to supply your product. A cancellation fee of 20% of your order will therefore be applicable.

Cancelling your order within 7 working days after the date of receiving the goods

You have the right to cancel your order within seven days after the date of delivery. You must notify us of your intention to return the goods within seven days by emailing us at sales@sofaauction.co.uk.

Please note that the following cannot be returned or cancelled, unless they are found to be faulty:
- Any custom made sofa
- Any partially or fully assembled self assembled furniture.                                                     - Any sofas in production 

Once you have accepted delivery of the item you are the owner. You are therefore liable for any loss or damage to the product after this time. If you wish to return the product(s) after delivery, cancellation must be made by email within seven days of receipt. Refunds will only be accepted if you have not used the goods and have taken reasonable care of the product(s). Failure to take reasonable care may result in a claim against you.

When you cancel your order after receipt, a collection date will be agreed and the goods must be made available to us when we call to collect them on this date. The cost of the item(s) will be refunded to you within 30 days of cancellation. The cost of delivery will not be refunded as this is a service that has been carried out on our part. As our products are bespoke to your requirements a charge of 20% of the price of the furniture will also be made to cover the cost of manufacturing and shipping.
